The box is at least a $250 value and you get to try so many products, from a company that you can trust!

Do you know about Think Dirty?  Think Dirty is a must-have resource for clean beauty lovers.  It is a free app that you download on your phone to help guide you through product purchasing decisions.  They have a very stringent rating system to help you gauge the toxicity in the products you are looking to purchase, as well as the ones you already own!  You can even scan your products to see how they rate!  It’s a genius tool for the clean conscious beauty lover!

My absolute favorite product from the box is the Biossance Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil.  You all know by now that I LOVE cleansing oils and this one is no exception!  It is so good and I am obsessed with the packaging!!

I also love The Original Cleaning Essentials Bottle!  Printed on the bottle are 5 recipes for DIY cleaning solutions for Kitchen, Bathroom, Glass, Tile & Wood Cleaners.  It’s incredibly handy and they thought of everything – from different spray settings to colored glass to protect your essential oils.  This is such a great product!

As always, I am happy to receive anything from 100% Pure!  I received TWO of their lip glosses in a gorgeous, neutral shade.  These are sure to become a staple for me!

She’s baaaack..

So, I had to take a few weeks off from blogging and Instagram.  I had SO much going on personally – between finishing up renovations on our home, moving in, hosting family, working full-time and just being pregnant in general – this little blog took a backseat.  It was super tough for me to admit that I simply was out of steam.  I have been hard on myself these past couple of weeks.  “Other bloggers have a lot going on and still crank out posts, why can’t you?”  So many of these ‘you don’t measure up’ thoughts have crept in. They could have consumed me.  They could have made me push myself too hard.  Or worse – quit.  But instead, I decided to extend myself grace.  I decided to give myself two weeks to focus on myself and my family.  And really there’s no explanation needed.  This post isn’t an excuse really – it’s to let you all know and to remind myself that we simply cannot do it all.  That we are really only our best selves when we are operating from a healthy place – what ever that means for you individually.

‘Healthy’ for me is keeping a balance of my responsibilities and the things that I don’t have to do, but simply enjoy.  And sometimes that means that I forget to take breaks.  I forget to rest.  With that being said, vacation simply could not come at a better time! Jonathan and I leave in two days for a Babymoon and I am so ready for it!  I’ll leave the destination a mystery for a couple more days, but I’ll tell you one of the ways that we chose it is that we are flying to a continent that neither Jonathan nor I have visited!  We are certainly in for an adventure.  I’d be lying if I said I feel 100% confident taking such a big trip while pregnant.  Pregnancy is so unpredictable each day, and while mine has been relatively easy- I certainly understand that no two days are the same.  I have purchased a few things to take with me, to make me more comfortable while traveling. I’ll share more along the way, but here are just a few that I am excited about.

I was pretty set on purchasing a new pair of headphones.  In-ear headphones and ear buds are incredibly uncomfortable to me for long periods of time.  I can barely make it through a whole movie with headphones in my ears.  I found these white and rosegold phones at a decent price, with great reviews.  I really considered the Dr. Dre Beats in rosegold, but I couldn’t justify the price tag.  These headphones have the look and price tag that I was looking for – and they are super comfortable!

One of my major concerns when traveling – pregnant or not – is water quality.  As a general rule, most places outside of the US do not have the same water quality.  I find myself searching out bottled water as often as possible.  This 100% copper bottle will certainly help put my mind at ease.  Especially since I am drinking so much more water during pregnancy, this copper bottle is my new must-have for traveling! Copper is a natural antimicrobial and antioxidant – it kills bacteria and has so many other health benefits!

I use a Sonicare toothbrush at home and I don’t like to take it with me because of the space and weight that it adds to my bag.  I love this little battery operated toothbrush – it’s tiny, lightweight and gets the job done!

I am almost completely packed for our departure on Thursday night!  I am looking forward to adventure and uninterrupted time spent with Jonathan!  We hope to recharge and return home with lighter schedules!  Stay tuned for more travel posts!!

I was in major need of a replenish for my beloved RMS Coconut Cream and if you have not tried this product- it will quickly become a routine staple!  It has literally saved my dry pregnancy skin.  I love how it preps my skin for foundation – everything is a little more glowy and a little more smooth.

Ecocentric Mom Subscription Box!

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

I love a subscription box!  Who doesn’t love receiving a gift in the mail every month that’s full of surprises?!  This one was extra special because it was my first ‘mommy’ gift, after announcing our little one on the way!  Thank you so much, Ecocentric Mom, for such a fun package!  I received the ‘Pregnancy Box‘ and it was so well curated for all of my first time pregnancy needs.  They also offer a Mom and Baby Box, as well as a Mom Box.

All of the products are eco-friendly and they focus on natural ingredients! There are so many great products inside – and best part, there are coupons to go along with most of them!  So once you try something and love it, you can reorder the product at a discount!  Here’s what I found in my box:

  • Zahler Prenatal + DHA 300 Vitamins: There were 10 vitamins to try and I was so pleased that they contain everything I was looking for, including Folate- the bioactive + natural form of folic acid!
  • Happymama Prenatal Soft-baked Oat Bar: I have seen these in the store and I’ve wanted to try them.  They are gluten-free, have added nutrients and are great for pregnancy + breastfeeding.
  • St. Tropica Organic Hot Oil Hair Mask: So, one of my pregnancy symptoms has been my absolutely awful hair.  I can barely do anything with it!  It’s been incredibly oily and just barely styleable.  I can’t wait to see if this organic coconut mask helps!
  • Dr. Brite Cleansing Mouth Rinse: This rinse has also been on my list of things to try!  It contains activated charcoal for cleansing impurities and mint for freshening!  I have heard that some women complain of a peculiar taste in their mouth during pregnancy – so this is a great, natural solution for that!
  • South of France French Milled Soaps:  These smell amazing and will definitely go in my travel bag this summer.
  • Itzy Ritzy Reuseable Snack Bag:  This is an excellent alternative to wasteful plastic bags!
  • Essential Wipes: Naturally sanitizing + chemical free- these are a handbag and diaper bag essential!
  • Para Kito Mosquito Repellent Gel Unidose:  This gel lasts for 5 hours and is made from essential oils.  Since we had to cancel our babymoon due to Zika invading just about every beachy destination there is- this product is a welcome friend!

To order your subscription, follow this link.  There are several options for how often you would like to receive your box.  Don’t forget to enter code DETOX for a FREE CLEAN BEAUTY GIFT with your purchase!

Spring Dresses

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Well, here in Atlanta – we thought we were all happy as could be with our Spring weather in February.  As tradition would have it, the March ‘cold snap’ turned out to be bitter cold and now our blooming flowers aren’t sure how to behave.  Thankfully, the infamous Atlanta dogwoods have opened up, we have dined al fresco most nights and I finally feel secure enough with the warmth to throw on some florals.  Spring is here! These are some of the cuties that I have picked up lately and I just had to share!

I found the striped dress at Target!  It doesn’t seem to be online, so I hope you have as much luck at your store as I did!  Here’s another option in all black.

The floral dress in the middle that I am so obsessed with is by Roberta Roller Rabbit. This is a new-to-me brand – but it’s also a new fave!  I also love this one, this one, and these pj’s!

The white tribal maxi is another Target find.  I purchased it online, so I’m not sure if you will find it in stores! This brand at Target has tons of cute options online like these:  white dress, printed maxi, ombre peasant dress.

If I find some more goodies, I’ll be sure to share soon!
